PPA163 Color Challenge

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #163! Don't you love that the Pals Design Teams are presenting double the amount of challenges? I'm excited to play along as much as possible! Won't you join me?

I began with the Midnight Muse card base and added a Very Vanilla background embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I used a brayer and some Chocolate Chip ink. This makes the wood grain show up better.

Next, I stamped a strip of "doodles" from the Mosaic Madness stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Midnight Muse. These little images look like they are arm in arm across the Very Vanilla strip. I added a Cherry Cobbler border after using a sponge dauber and Chocolate Chip ink on the edges.

Lastly, I created this tag with the sentiment from Chalk Talk. I used Cherry Cobbler, Midnight Muse and Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Markers to color the image. I punched it out with my Big Shot and Chalk Talk Framelits and added some paper-piercing on the top and bottom. I tied a knot through the tag hole using Natural Trim Ribbon.

I really like how this turned out. What do you think? Won't you leave your comments below? Thanks for visiting today!
