This is the first card I've made in about a week! I was gone for awhile and had make some cards to post ahead and today it's so nice to get back into my studio and create! I hope you like this card that I made with inspiration from the Deconstructed Sketch blog.
My card base is Whisper White. Because I had a lot of scraps left from my pack of Birthday Basics designer series paper, I used three separate horizontal pieces to create my background, which was perfect for the sketch provided.
Between the 2nd and third strips, I inserted the negative of one of the the Finishing Touches Edgelits, which I ran through my Big Shot using Cherry Cobbler card stock.
The next element is the banner, which is a third print from the Birthday Basics DSP. The banner "hangs" from a piece of Whisper White card stock that I ran through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder. I decorated the banner with two circles cut out from the Circles Collection Framelits. Onto the circle, I stamped an image from Label Love in Cherry Cobbler ink.
The banner hangar is decorated with an image from the That's the Ticket stamp set and punched out using the Ticket Duo Builder punch. I tied a Cherry Cobbler piece of Baker's Twin onto it.
On the lower right hand corner, I used three Very Vanilla Candy Dots to mimic the sketch elements. I hope you enjoyed looking today. Thank you for stopping by! Please leave your comments because I love to read them all!!
Come back tomorrow for the full reveal of this week's PPA card. Here is my sneak peek:
