Happy Friday! Here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago and then had some friends come over and make one for themselves! The International Bazaar Designer Series paper that I used is retiring in a matter of days! You can see that I scrunched up my Tea Lace Paper Doily (making it smaller) to matt this "flower" made from several sizes and colors of Scallop Circle-punched card stock. After punching the scallops, I wrinkled each one up over and over until the fibers in the paper were broken. Then I easily peeled the layers of paper apart and the result is a suede-like "flower." I secured the layers with a Designer Printed Brad, which is not in the new catalog :(
