PPA157 Sketch Challenge

Hello! I'm glad you stopped by to see what the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge was this week! I hope you will consider playing along, by creating a card using our sketch, uploading it to our blog, and sharing it on your blog or gallery using PPA157 in the description.

The primary color I chose this week was Baja Breeze, since I'm sad to see it go! However, I am very excited for new colors coming on board (beginning June 1st), and I know I will soon forget my sadness over losing a couple of my favorites!

Sometimes, while making a card for a challenge, I make TWO versions and then cannot decide which one to use. This time I chose the pierced card at the top of this post, but here is the other option. It's only slightly different because I left off the piercing and I added two little fleurs-de-lis in Baja Breeze over and under my sentiment. I also reversed the colors of the Labels Collection Framelits that border my Whisper White sentiment label. What do you think?

Please let me know which version of the card you like in the comment section: the pierced one or the unpierced! My favorite is the pierced. I think those little holes add so much! And they are made easy with the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack (127857 $7.95)

As usual, you can always shop my Online Store any time! Hurry to get your favorite retiring colors of ribbon, ink, designer paper, card stock, etc! Available while supplies last!

Awesome card Patti...I like the pierced card the best. I also like how you reversed the colors. Would make for a nice card kit. Thanks for sharing.

hmm, I think I'm with you on the pierced one! You're right, the piercing gives it the extra "wow"! Love all the Baja Breeze too.

I like the one better with the piercing. Makes it more "holey"! :)
