Celebrating Easter

Happy Easter to each of you who visit my blog! I'll be celebrating the Risen Lord on Sunday. No blogging this weekend. I hope your weekend is wonderful, whatever you may be doing.

I kept my Easter cards simple this year. I wanted to be able to create a lot of them without spending a lot of time. The coloring of the cross from Crosses of Hope was the most time-consuming, but I enjoyed it. I used my Stampin' Write Markers in Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi. I added a pearl for a bit of richness. I mounted the cross (using Stampin' Dimensionals) onto the Wisteria Wonder shape from Apothecary Accents Framelits. So the shape wasn't so plain, I used my Perfect Plum Stampin' Write Marker to add six dots on the rounded corners. The rest of the shape took has Perfect Plum sentiment "Easter Blessings" stamped onto it a little off-center. Underneath lies a beautiful Tea Lace Doily. My card base is Very Vanilla, contrasting the Whisper White Doily.

Happy Easter!

Really nice card. Like design and color choices. I'm adding the Crosses of Hope stamp set to my list.
