Pals Paper Arts Pink-Classy & Playful

This card is for the Pals Paper Arts PINK challenge! Happy Thursday and I hope you are up for playing along with us. We are dedicating our post this week to Karol Harris, mom of one of our design team members, Kris Kilcoyne. You can read about her here. She is battling breast cancer right now. You can upload your PINK creation at Pals Paper Arts and have a chance to win our PINK PRIZE PACKAGE. Uploads must be submitted using a DIRECT LINK to your blog or online gallery. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, November 4th.

I used the Friends Rock guitar image on this card. I wanted a classy yet playful look, which is why I used the beautiful script (classy) sentiment along with the plain type (playful) on the Birds and Bloom "flower." I colored in the guitar using my Stampin' Write markers in Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink and my Blender Pen with a Pink Pirouette ink pad "puddle." Trying to stay classy and playful, I used my Eyelet Border Punch (classy) to border a black print from Urban Oasis paper and wrapped it with Basic Black grosgrain (playful) ribbon.

I agree with Linda, the black eyelet punch gives it a rock star feel. Reminds me of some fancy tights. :)
