Events around our home have kept me too busy to create, so I am using a file I created called "Rainy Day Posts." This file is a backup for times when I am stressed! This was an early summer birthday card for a dear friend. I used my Nestabilities to cut and emboss a square out of the Real Red square card and then used that as a frame for my matted image. The image comes from a retired Stamin' Around wheel "Flip Flops." I rolled out the image with Real Red ink, and then cut out just one pair of flip flops. It's almost like I have a flip flop stamp now! You could isolate one, two or more pairs. You can use any Stampin' Around wheels (jumbo or regular) like this and stretch your stamping dollars! Imagine a few pair lined up in different colors! Oh so fun! To finish off the card, I added a snippet of Basic Black grossgrain ribbon, using my Double Rectangle punch. Simple, yet the black color adds so much. Even though my photo makes it look like the Real Red card is background stamped, it really isn't!
