Freestyle Wednesday

Challenges are wonderful, but today I'm going freestyle! I planned this card out by starting with the sentiment. I stamped it willy-nilly the very first day I had my Great Friend set, but it's been sitting on my desk ever since. I then added the Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point mattings to match the ink colors. After that I searched for paper. I decided to use the Kiwi Kiss print from the Urban Garden paper I just received last week. BUT, when I turned it over to add adhesive, I saw how cool the other pattern was and how it matched my Going Gray cardstock and I was hooked! I found this foil butterfly in my stash and I tried to "color" it with Kiwi Kiss using a puddle and my Blender Pen, but the color wouldn't stick so I left it golden. I added the ribbon and button last. Oh, and I give my friend, Diana, credit for reminding me to do something different with my corners. She sent me a card she made with these corners on it.
I hope you enjoy this totally me design.

I think I know the Diana who suggested playing around with the corners! She is a good advisor. The card is lovely and the butterfly is a wonderful touch!
