Hinged Card

Splitcoast's Technique Lover's Challenge this week was to make a hinged card.  There was even a tutorial, which was most excellent!  I already had the Really Rust part sitting on my desk waiting for "something."  I also had the Pumpkin Pie textured paper finished and waiting.  Last weekend I experimented by inking my Texturz Plate with the ink pad, then placing my paper on top it and running it through my Big Shot.  WOW. It was so cool!  You can make your own designer paper this way, using the colors you really want.  You can even color in the dots and leaves of this particular pattern if you want to.  The ribbon is from my stash and the "button"  over "best wishes" is made from another Sizzix flower die cut, which I put two holes in to thread the strip of cardstock through for a tie.  I hope you enjoy this card.
