Navy Birthday Card

I loved coming up with the colors for this card. I used a card that Mary Fish made and changed the colors, stamp set, etc. So basically, I used her sketch. This would be a great sketch to duplicate a pile of cards using different sentiments. Having cards on hand is always a good idea.

Painted Poppies Shaker

I have finally mastered shaker cards! After making a recent box of Paper Pumpkin Shaker cards, I now know the pattern for making one by heart!

Here I have created a simple circular one using a strip of card stock, a decorative stamp and a circle hole punch. Add some pieces of Foam Adhesive Strips around the punched hole and fill with sequins of any shape and color.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to create with stamps, paper and ink!

Happy Mother's Day Poppy Card

A very happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there! I hope you have a relaxing day and time to connect in some way with each of your children. Motherhood is the hardest job with the best rewards!

I made a lot of this card this year for some of the moms on my list. Card base is Poppy Parade with a Whisper White Stitched Rectangle frame. I cut out the floral pattern with the Poppy Moments die so the Poppy Parade showed through. I added a beautiful poppy with a black border and black and grey center, all easily die cut with the Poppy Moments die.

This card would look lovely with no sentiment, but I used

white embossing powder on Basic Black card stock with "Happy Mother's Day" from the Dressed to Impress stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed looking today! Please leave a comment and come back soon.
