Pals Blog Hop "Time to Sale-A-Brate!"

Welcome to the Pals' February blog hop. We're so glad you are here because it's "Time to Sale-A-Brate!" Our Design Team created projects using Sale-A-Bration items to inspire you. Happy Wednesday! Initially I was not interested in the Tea Together stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. I didn't think I'd want to stamp the teapot without cutting it out by hand. Then I noticed that the Sale-A-Bration brochure offered the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies free with a qualifying purchase. That was all I needed!

I decided to color the rose image, and I'm finding I love our Stampin' Blend markers. I didn't have Lovely Lipstick marker, so I chose to use my Cherry Cobbler light and dark markers.

First I outlined the petal edges with the Dark Cherry Cobbler. Keep the marker away from the very edges so they don't bleed over. Next, I colored over all the petals using a circular motion and the Light Cherry Cobbler. Then, I lightened up the middles using the Color Lifter. The Cherry Cobbler is very similar to Lovely Lipstick, which is the color of the card base. Between the petals and the card base, I have that beautiful Grapefruit Grove Tufted embossing mat, so it's okay if they don't match exactly.

Happy Wednesday! Here is another Sneak Peek of the new items from the Occasions Catalog that goes live in just a few days. I am loving this paper from the All My Love Designers Series Paper Pack.

And the sentiment is snipped from a longer one in the Meant To Be stamp set. Those lovely items behind the sentiment are cut from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. There are LOADS of hearts in the die set! And think of all you can do with the heart cut outs! Confetti!

I Interrupt My Christmas Posts for a Sneak Preview!

I interrupt my regularly scheduled Christmas posts to bring you a special sneak preview from the 2019 Occasions Catalog! Normally I'm not a fan of rushing through one holiday to get to the next, however, I am finished with all of my shopping, wrapping, sending, baking--everything! So, I was pleased to have time to play with new goodies only available to demonstrators at this time.

This lovely card is Sea Foam card stock, with a background from the new All My Love Designer Series Paper. It's GORGEOUS!  I brought out the Balmy Blue color (I think it's the first time I have used this "new" color!) by using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits (scalloped heart) and the beautiful Balmy Blue Organdy Ribbon. The organdy ribbon is only available as a free gift when you spend $50 during Sale-A-Bration. It comes in a pack with four other colors.
