Today I am very excited to show you what I've been doing for the past day or so! I learned how to make a Tri-Shutter Album from
Andrea Walford at Christmas time. I purchased her kit and have the full instructions. After Christmas, I decided that I could really make this album into any theme that I wanted. Using my leftover Delicate Dots Designer paper from last year, I made this Boy Baby Album! I am thrilled with how it turned out!
Here is the front of the album.
Of course I made a matching card, too! I got my inspiration for this card from
Kit Marie at Splitcoast Stampers.
Album open. Fully opened center.
Another exciting thing about this album is--I DON'T OWN ANY BABY STAMPS!! BUT, I am a new My Digital Studio Owner. Okay, I'm not a new owner, I got my copy months ago, but after I completed the training to be MDS certified, I never opened the program again until yesterday! I found the images I wanted, printed them off on my computer (onto Whisper White card stock) in the colors and sizes I wanted, cut or punched them out, and voila! I "have" the stamps! Plus, now that I have the document with all of the images, I can use them over and over to make more albums. I can change the color or size as I wish. These images all came WITH MDS, as I have not downloaded any *new* images, papers, etc. I am so hooked on this, now! I still like my 3-D cards and albums, but this really adds to it. I now am thinking of trying to print out album pages using the background papers and stamps, then added my photos and embellishments on top (the old-fashioned way) to get the look and feel that I love for scrapbooking! Stay tuned!
