Fun Gift Box

Today's project is a holder that I made to put a tube of lotion in as a gift. I used the Julie DiMatteo's instructions and I used my own color scheme, papers and ribbon.

I bought the lotions at Costco some time ago. They came in packs of 5 different scents. They slip nicely into Julie's box. (She put room spray inside and called it an ornament box because you can hand them using the ribbon).

I hope you enjoyed today's project. Please come back again soon. You won't miss a post if you subscribe using the link on the side bar.

Graduation Assortment

Sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set
It's the time of year when I need to make several graduation cards. I like to use my Large Numbers Dies, which will be retiring at the end of May. I will keep my dies! I love using them for graduation, as well as special "year" birthdays or for children's birthdays. Kids love to see their special number on the front of a card!

My first card is simple, for a graduation senior guy. I thought I would keep it black and white, as I didn't know the high school colors when I made this one up. The young man is our nephew and he is going to attend NYU in the fall.

For the next three cards above, I used the high school or middle school colors on the outside. Inside, I used their upcoming school or college colors. The upcoming universities for two of these cards are Portland University and Marquette University.

Let me know what you think of these colorful graduation cards. Maybe I inspired you? I hope so!

Order yours May 1st - 31st, 2018

My card showcases one of the prints from the Share What you Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The colors I used to coordinate with it are Tranquil Tide, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz. One color in the paper is actually the returning Mint Macaron. I'm so happy this color is coming back! I don't have any of it in my stash, so you can see that the Pool Party does a good job of coordinating with the print.

My banner was made using the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I used Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to accent two of the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by today. I'm glad you are here. Please use my Online Store to order your products at any time.
