Shimmery Best Wishes

I liked the Sweet Soire Specialty Paper so much that I used it again on today's card. This is a card that we made at my last monthly Workshop. This card was designed my my stamping Pal, Windy Ellard. The stamp suite is from the Occasions Catalog.

I love all the shine on this card. It comes from the Specialty Paper, the Berry Burst Metallic-Edge Ribbon and the Calypso Coral cut out flower being stamped onto Shimmery White card stock. I love all of the pieces on this tag. They were easily cut out using the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies. Thankfully this set of dies and the Cake Soiree stamp set (sentiment) are continuing into the Annual Catalog that debuts June 1st.

Best Wishes Petal Palette

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for me is the community. I am a member of the Pretty Pals group under the leadership of Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty. I cannot put into words how kind and supportive and encouraging the members are to one another.

For today's card, I joined another Pal, Shannon Jaramillo (check out her blog - Shannon Kay Papery) in her studio for a little stamping fun!

I do not own the stamp set we used: "Petal Palette" or the Petals and More Thinlits Dies, but I got to bring home a wonderful card that Shannon helped me make that was originally designed by another pal, Windy Ellard (Windy's Wonderful Creations). I love that the products go so well together.

Shannon added her own touches when she used a different print from the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and added the embossed background piece using the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I LOVE how it turned out. I was able to use my card right away to celebrate a fellow crafter's birthday.

I hope you enjoyed looking today. I hope you are inspired to make a card or scrapbook page using stamps and ink.

Please use my Online Store to order Stampin' Up! I'd be honored to be chosen as your demonstrator!

Half Full Wishes

"May Your Glass Always Be Half Full" is the way I tend to look at things. This sentiment is a toast, a wish and a greeting you can use for many different occasions. I love the colors on this card: Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry paired with Very Vanilla. The ink is Basic Black and Basic Gray.

I used my Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker to color the wine in the glass and make the wine "pour " from the bottle. Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker colored the foil on the bottle. Next I layered on Clear Wink of Stella and lastly I added a layer of clear with my Fine Tip Glue Pen. The bottle is colored using Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired. I love to read your comments, so please take a few seconds to leave one, won't you?
