Sweet Sunflower Sympathy

I used the August Paper Pumpkin kit with my own card stock and the (retired) "Here's a Card" stamp set

I am a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and have been from the beginning. I love the kits and how you can just easily put them together with their directions. However, I also like that the kit lives on because you get to keep the stamp set (as well as the ink spots!) so you can create alternative cards or projects.

The August 2022 "Sweet Sunflowers" kit was VERY popular, especially with folks posting alternatives. There are endless color combinations you can use with the stamp set and ways to make any kind of card you may need.

For this sympathy card, I used the sunflower pieces from the stamp set and stamped them in Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede. After stamping I used my Blender Pen to pick up some of the still wet ink and spread it around to the petal edges and the flower middle. This makes the image appear water colored and doesn't leave any white spaces.
