Sheltering Lovely Trees

I received an order for 30 cards this month. There were six in each category requested: Sympathy, Birthday, Get Well, Thank You and BLANK. My mind went BLANK when I read the last requested category!! I never make cards without sentiments for myself, so I really had to work hard to make cards without words on the front. I knew that Lovely as a Tree would be a great stamp set for a background of, well, lovely trees! One color ink and a small background piece of Designer Series Paper (from Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper) and I was almost done. I added a piece of ribbon at the last minute.

Another tree set is Sheltering Tree. You stamp the bare tree, then add "leaves" or "blooms" depending on what colors you choose. Here I used Garden Green ink for my leaves and grass. I used Soft Suede ink for the tree and Crumb Cake stamped off for the ground under the tree.

I hope you enjoyed looking today and that I inspired you to create! Let me know how I can help you make the cards you will love to send.

These are both 'simply' beautiful. That Lovely As a Tree stamp is my all time favorite.
