I made these shiny and elegant cards for a couple in our family who turned 70 recently. Their birthdays are days apart and they celebrated with a big party, thrown in a hotel ballroom with dancing, catered food and a wonderful cake! Our family was blessed to be a part of the celebration. They asked for "no gifts" so I thought a nice card for each of them was in order.

My favorite thing about these cards is that I didn't have to use any stamps! I just used the Large Numbers Framelits and then framed those numbers with squares in gold and black. I used the retired Springtime Foils specialty paper as my card base (it's extra thick) and then made the envelopes match by adding a strip of the DSP to the envelope.
