Gorgeous Christmas Colors With First Frost

See description below to see how I made the Copper Leaves

This card just happened so fast. I was trying out my Frosted Bouquet Framelits along with the First Frost Stamp set. I hadn't noticed that you can make the frame very thin (the Tranquil Tide die cut piece is not behind the white sentiment, but rather frames it) until I went to pick the die off of my magnet sheet. Essentially it still looks like you layered the two colors of card stock, but the option could help you frame any shape.

I love the colors Real Red and Tranquil Tide for Christmas. They are both bold colors.

For the gorgeous accents behind the framed sentiment, I used the Frosted Bouquet Framelits to cut Real Red card stock "berries." Next I used and Sponge Dauber and Bright Copper Shimmer Paint on Real Red card stock, let it dry and cut out the leaf shape. (Let it dry completely before cutting). It's like having instant shimmer paper. Stampin' Up! sells the Shimmer Paint in Bright Copper, Champagne Mist, Frost White and Vegas Gold. You can easily add the paint to Embossing Paste or use a few drops with some alcohol in a Stampin' Mister to add a sprayed shimmer to any project.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I'd love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator when you use my Online Store to order.
