My Favorite Holiday - September Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pals September 2017 Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month our theme is "My Favorite Holiday." Sit back and enjoy the view while the Pals treat you with projects for the upcoming Autumn an Winter Holidays.

Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.

I'm going to GUESS that a lot of Pals chose Christmas as their favorite holiday, but I could be wrong. Mine is just that because I've always enjoyed making a nice Christmas for my family. The way I do that has changed through the years, but now I get to do it all again with grandkids! My grandkids live in Hawaii, so my husband and I spend every other Christmas there. I thought I would be able to use the stamp set Beachy Little Christmas a lot with my daughter's family--for cards or gift tags and the like.

My first time inking the stamps up, I used my Jet Black Stazon and water color paper. I then used ink pad puddles (or markers) with my Blender Pen or Aqua Painter to color in my Beachy Christmas tree.  (Colors: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky, So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder). I love the "typewriter" font for the sentiment. My frame was made using a Layering Square Framelit and sliding it down for a second cut to create a rectangle.

I have been wanting to see someone use this set! If I still lived in Florida, it would have been on the top of my list. Not everyone has snow at Christmas time LOL. Great cards! I am sure you will get lots of use from it and your family will love it!
