Shiny and Sparkly for December Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for December 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month our projects showcase products that can add sparkle and/or shine for a finishing touch. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

Here is one of my cards. I knew I wanted to use Mint Macaron and Real Red. I was going to make a wreath with holly and a red glitter-embossed bow and this tree card is what I ended up with! That's the way it goes with my creativity these days!

As for the shiny and sparkly aspects, I began with a Shimmery White card stock. My tree was cut out using Perfect Pines Framelits and Mint Macaron card stock. Each of those little scalloped details were covered with clear Wink of Stella.  I used the white Signo pen to color on some snow. The star is Red Foil paper and the star from Perfect Pines Framelits.

Since I could always use more Christmas cards, I decided to use more sparkly items on this next card. Peaceful Pines is the stamp set that is so versatile! You can create all kinds of beautiful trees and decorate them using the stamp set. Cut them out perfectly with the Perfect Pines Framelits.

My shiny elements on this card were Gold Embossing powder for the decorations on the tree and a Gold Foil star this time around.  I'm previewing the Sale-A-Bration 3/8" Metallic ribbon, which comes in a combo-pack of silver AND gold. (That will be available on January for FREE when you purchase any $50 in Stampin' Up! product.)

I'd love to hear your comments and let you know about my Online Store, where you can shop any time!

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!
