WWII Vet Turns 100!

When I read this story about James Ralph Kuntz turning 100 next month, I was inspired to make a card for him. I had just the inspiration I needed from another member of my stamping group, Marlene Heringer.

I used the soon-to-retire By The Seashore stamp set. Using the colors Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake with a Whisper White background, made for a simple patriotic look. On the banner, I used my Little Letters Thinlits (yes, the 'i' and two of the 'o' since I don't have the soon-to-be released Little Numbers Thinlits) to write his new three-digit age! I kept the message simple. Inside I wrote:

"Congratulations and Thank You for your service to our country--celebrate big!"

If you would like to send James a card, you still have plenty of time:

James Ralph Kuntz
c/o Salena Catron
3310 Orleans Drive
Kokomo, IN 46902

Hopefully James receives at least 100 cards!!
