Welcome to my first post of 2015! Pals Paper Arts is celebrating today--a new beginning-- by using some classy and festive colors! I love using silver with Night of Navy, and after you do that, it's perfection to add Wisteria Wonder.
This is a Clean and Simple card, and it's whipped up so quickly using this 3-step Lotus Blossom stamp set. Perfect when you need multiple cards like now when you are thanking gift-givers after Christmas. A single bow in Silver 1/8" ribbon is a perfect match for the silver-embossed sentiment.
The photopolymer set has three layers to the blooms in various sizes, which have a tab that is labeled to help you know which to stamp first (1, 2 or 3) and then which direction to line them all up. The first layer is the smallest, which didn't make sense to me, but it works! The blooms come out like they are painted onto the card stock. I used Wisteria Wonder and Night of Navy inks to get this result. I snuck a little Pear Pizzazz stem under the bloom--shhh! Don't tell :-)
The Lotus Blossom stamp set will be available for *FREE* with your $50 purchase beginning January 6th. It's in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Each time you spend $50 on any Stampin' Up! product, you earn a free item from the brochure. There is no limit to how many items you can earn. It's a great time for hosting, too, as you receive $25 MORE in benefits if your workshop is $250 or more. That's a total of $50 in products and 5 free SAB items! Offer ends March 31st, 2015.
