Occasions Catalog Valentine Preview

Today I have a "card front" to share with you. "What is a card front?," you ask. It's just the front of the card--no fold--no place to put an inside greeting. "What is the purpose of a card front?" It's generally done for a card swap. I made 9 of these, sent them off to the swap coordinator, and I will receive 8 card fronts back. All of the card fronts are designed and made by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. We are seeking new ideas for all of the new stamps, papers and embellishments from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure which goes live January 6th. There are swaps out there for non-demonstrators as well, so swap away and see new designs, get ideas and start creating!

My upper left and bottom right panels were made using my Big Shot and the new Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Available in the Occasions Catalog Jan 6th). To get the color, I used my Blushing Bride-inked brayer to "color" one side of the folder. Next, I put my Whisper White card stock in and ran it through. I cut the card stock into pieces to use on the card. I added the banner stamped using One Tag Fits All (Occasions Catalog) and fussy-cut it out.

Over the bottom panel, I stamped the sentiment from One Tag Fits All (Occasions Catalog-Jan 6th) and accented it with a Blushing Bride Candy Dot.
My other two panels were cut from the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack. (Occasions Catalog-Jan 6th).

I hope you are inspired when you visit my blog. Please let me know if you have any questions about my projects or about Stampin' Up! products. I'd be happy to answer your questions concerning trying out the Stampin' Up! starter kit, as well. I welcome Hobby or Business Demonstrators into my group.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you will leave a comment below. I appreciate your time and your kind comments!

I love what you did with this card! I do a weekly round up of amazing cards and I'd love to share this on my blog for 'My Crafty Friends Monday' next week! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn't share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
Inky Hugs!
