Watercolor Lesson

This is the third and last card from Ann Schach's January Class of the Month. I finally got it finished. Now, I didn't have the same Designer Series Paper that Ann used on those teeny banners across the top, so I improvised and used Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, which you can earn for *free* from the Sale-A-Bration brochure with any $50 purchase through March 31st.

The flowers from Happy Watercolor are stamped over some free-stamped images from the same set. I sort of made my own DSP by stamping the image randomly in two colors, then washing over the entire sheet of Whisper White card stock to give that watercolor look. Ann stamped hers onto Very Vanilla card stock, and I used Whisper White on accident. I wasn't ready to trash the work, though, so I just used it!

Thanks for looking! I hope you enjoyed my watercoloring. Ann's February Class of the Month stamp set and sample cards are on their way to me, so I will be showing those soon!

Wow, Patti! Your watercoloring looks wonderful! The white works great, and brightens up the look, as does the Sweet Sorbet DSP! Very well done!!!
