Building Block Birthday

Yippee-Skippee!! I tried the Building Block Card and I LOVE how easy it is. It's almost a gift in itself, so if you need a card for a very special person, this is the card. You can see the tutorial here.

On these "blocks" in the middle of the card, you can be very creative. Some people have written words using letter stamps or stickers. I decorated mine with a variety of stamps and the bicycle images to match the front. The Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites because it uses a lot of different color combinations and graphics. The Pedal Praise stamp from a My Paper Pumpkin is perfect to blend with the Bicycle images on one of the DSP sheets.

I let the sentiment on the XL Decorative Label punched in Summer Starfruit sticks out a little, but that's okay because this card is a bit slimmer than a regular A2 card when it's folded up.

I hope you enjoyed this Birthday Card today and that you will try one yourself. Please let me know what you think in my comments section :-) I love reading each one and they make me smile!

What a fun card! I really enjoy the challenge of filling each block with design. I like how you used the Birthday DSP which is such a fun DSP to begin with. The sentiment is awesome!!! So very nicely done! Thanks for sharing with us!
