1968 - It Was A Very Good Year

Fourth Challenge (and last) for Creative Crew on Splitcoast Stampers. Gallery is CCREW1113SF.

The focus of this challenge was a favorite childhood memory, toy, sweet, etc. I chose my memories of being a Brownie Girl Scout. Here I am with my little sister. I couldn't wait to grow up and become a Junior Girl Scout so I could go camping! OH the fun memories.

Unfortunately, I didn't own a camera back then, so I have no camping photos from those years. That was a long time ago. Since then, I have camped in open air, tents and motor homes or trailers. I loved it all, but I'm more of a nice hotel gal now! (As you read, I am in Tahiti in a nice bungalow over the water--ahhh!)

I hope to make an entire album of these 8 x 8" pages whenever I come across a fun photo from my childhood. Hey, they don't have to be in order and they don't take long when they are so small! Maybe it will make a nice reading book for my granddaughter. I can tell her what it was like growing up in the last century! Oh my, I sound old :-)

Thanks for looking. I hope you will leave a comment for me to read! For all of your Stampin' Up! supplies, please use my Online Store.

Patti LOVE your childhood memory page. I remember the 'Brownies' and Girl Scouts too ... but... I graduated the next year in 69. Yipes!
I always have about 8 scrapbooks going. I agree about not important if they are in order, but to just capture the memories!
