Happy Day Embossing

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was fantastic. Summer is almost over! Today's card is another from a Workshop last week. We used embossing powder! It's hard to tell from the photo, but that lovely, lacey medallion is embossed using VersaMark and White Embossing Powder.

I was so nervous about having a crowd use embossing powder, but my group was very neat and tidy and I do believe I will be doing more embossing with them!

Hi Patti: Beautiful card. I love the lacy medallion white embossing. Your colors are great and I so love that music paper. Gorgeous all the way around.

I had the most wonderful weekend. I had 4 cousins over and we paper crafted all day Fri. I taught them a bunch of different things and they loved it. We told stories and looked at pic's and it was all just awesome. They are going to come back again and again too! I kind of let family and friends slip away when my parents were sick so it was very nice to catch up with them.

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card. I haven't embossed a medallion yet and I think I will try it now. Blessings.

Lynn, sounds like you had a great weekend! I'm so glad you are inspired to try embossing a medallion! Just use the VersaMark lightly and experiment with what is enough versus too much ink and your delicate lines getting clumpy. I always emboss more than one at time just in case! I have extras if they all come out perfect! Good luck!
