Color Challenge!!

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #140! I hope you will join our Design Team and all the participants by making a card, scrapbook page or other paper project using the above colors.

I didn't know where to start with these colors, so I began with Real Red and popped some Scallops from Summer Smooches using the *new* 1-1/4" Scallop punch. The new punch is on page 7 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. It's the perfect size to layer inside Stampin' Up's 1-3/4" Scallop Punch. Here I punched the larger scallops from Marina Mist card stock. I snipped each of the "petals" from my scalloped edges to resemble flowers.

Inside my scallops are a 3/4" Circle punched in Whisper White. On each of the circles I stamped a sentiment or image from the Lovely Little Labels stamp set using Real Red and Marina Mist ink. I created my own sentiment sentence: "Thanks, Sweetheart."

My blooms are popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Behind them is a Scallop Edge-punched piece of Summer Starfruit card stock that has been run through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.

I hope you enjoyed my PPA project, and I hope you are inspired to begin your own. You can upload it to the PPA site and play along with us! Thank you for all of your kind comments and I hope I've answered any questions you have emailed to me!

For not knowing where to begin, it ended up great, Patti! I love your scalloped flowers and their polka dot centers! Love too how you incorporated the little heart into your message! Very clever!
