Embossed Quilt Just For You

Don't forget--there are two more days to get your RED on for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge! The link closes on Thursday, so please join us by making a new creation using your favorite RED products!

I think you can tell I just love this herringbone piecing technique to use up my scraps! I really like the colors I put together on this one. I would never have done so on another kind of card. The colors are Basic Gray, Blushing Bride and Poppy Parade. I put all of the scraps together as I did here, and then I embossed the square using the Snow Burst Embossing folder run through the Big Shot. SO quick and easy!

I enjoy lots of layers. The Basic Gray scallop oval is from the Movers and Shapers die that is used with the Curly Label and Punch Windows and the Big Shot. The Poppy Parade scallop label is cut with the hand held Scallop Oval punch. The "Just for You" is stamped with the "Oval All" stamp set and punched out with the Oval punch.

See how you can earn free products for each $50 you order from now through March 31, 2012 here.

Yikes, Patti...I am the deleted comment culprit! I had a typo I didn't catch before I hit publish. Here we go without (without typos): Beautiful card, Patti! I love how you incorporated the colors. A great way to use up scraps!
