CAS - Element of Style - Paper Piercing - PPA104

Clean and Simple Element of Style- Paper Piercing! It's easy to do when you have the correct tools. I used my paper piercer and my matt pack from Stampin' Up! I just lay the guide over my paper, lined it up with the corner and used my paper piercer to poke 11 holes in precisely the pattern my wanted.

So, won't you play along with us at Pals Paper Arts? Create your paper-pierced Clean and Simple card or project, upload it to our site and that's how you are playing! Make sure you upload using a DIRECT LINK to your project to be eligible to be chosen as one of our three "picks" each week.

To continue the theme of piercing, I used my Eyelet Border Punch along the bottom. I added a strip of Designer Series paper (Berry Blosssoms) and a double-flower punch (using one of the Itty Bitty Shapes punch and Boho Blossoms punch) with tiny rhinestone brad for some bling.

TIPS: The flower is popped up with a Stampin' Dimensional. I cut it in half and placed it on either side of my opened brad so it would lay flat. Also, because the flower is very tiny, I cut the brad "legs" shorter using my Stampin' Up! Craft & Rubber scissors. They snip right off!

TIP: If you like the distressed look, take a sponge dauber and rub over your wrinkles using soft suede or a color from the pink collection.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you will leave a comment and let me know how you like my submission to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week. I love to read each and every comment!
