I'm not in "love" with this designer series paper, but I do know that you can tone down loud patterns by using colors. I found that using Pear Pizzazz with this Pacific Point print really softens the blues. I added a Marina Mist/Pacific Point scallop trim border punch duo. When using Crumb Cake like I did to back the sentiment, I love to add the twill tape, so here I tied it into a bow, since the card is for a woman.
I hope I inspired you to use something you may not "love" to create a card you can love and give with joy!

Beautiful graduation CARD!!!!
I found your post to be informational and inspirational, Patti! There are many things I have not used because I did not "love" the pattern or the color or whatever. But now I see that something that will give pleasure to the recipient can be created. Your card is beautiful!
I know that paper is hard to work with. But you pulled it off with a gorgeous card! Great Job!!!
