Renovations

(Click on the links below for larger charts)

Hello everyone! Stampin' Up! announced yesterday that they are going to majorly renovate their colors! Everyone is abuzz about the new Color Collections. Of course because there are new colors, some will be retired and you can see those HERE.

Beginning on July 1st, there will be some new colors in the "core", which has a total of 40 colors.

Brand New Colors: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist.

Renamed Color: Crumb Cake, formerly Kraft.

Retired In Colors: (re-introduced and part of the core colors): Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi.

This sounds confusing at first, but when you get to "know" these new colors and welcome old favorites, you are going to love designing with these updated colors. Also, there will be 5 brand new IN COLORS coming on July 1st. They will be around for two years. Each year, Stampin' Up! will introduce 5 new colors, giving you a total of 10 colors at a time (beginning in 2011) for the In Color collection.

Stampin' Up! will be offering several types of "kits" to help you bring all of these new colors into your hands so you can start creating. The company has listened to many consumer suggestions and feels that these new colors are up-to-date with industry trends.

I hope you will take some time to get to know these colors and plan how you will work them into your projects starting this summer. This is an exciting time for all of us to get to use some new products that will match the colors, as well.
