PPA Challenge--Flowers

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #37! This week you can create using the theme "flowers." I can't wait to see how all of our players will use flowers in their creations.

I used my new Square Scalloped Clear Bigz Die. I cut my card out by folding the card stock and placing the die over all the area I wanted cut and open, and leaving one edge off of the fold in the card stock. Voila! For my flowers, I used the Love U Decor Stencils from the Definitely Decorative pamphlet. This set is so versatile! You can use the images to stencil onto wrapping paper, walls, books or journals--the possibilities are endless! There are 7 images in the set (118261 14.95).

To color my stencils, I used sponge daubers and took the ink directly from the ink pad itself. I just dabbed onto the pad, then dabbed onto the stencil. Since the design of this flower is a simple one, I didn't need to worry about the stencil moving while I was dabbing.

I'm going to have to order that square scallop after seeing how you used it. this would be a good card for a teenager who might not be into "regular floral",
