One Stamp Set, Many Uses

Here is what I ended up with for my swap! A bit different than yesterday's card. I find I never really know how a papercraft will end up. It takes on a life of it's own sometimes. That is the beauty of creating.

There was no layout or color requirement for this card, but it had to be the regular size (4.25 x 5.5 inches) and I had to use one embellishment, which here is the Rhinestone Brad trio. The base of the card is Old Olive, with a Chocolate Chip mat. Then I cut two Top Note shapes from two different patters of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper and used only half of each. I punched out the sentiment with the perfect-sized Large Oval Punch. Across from that I placed three Rhinestone Brads. On the bottom half of the Top Note shape, I placed a Scallop Envelope Die cut in Real Red that has the flap cut off. I know it seemed sad to cut off the pretty part, but the card is very substantial, and knowing that I was going to fill up the envelope, I couldn't add a velcro closing like I originally wanted. After decorating the envelope with a strip of the striped print from Merry Moments, I filled it up with four more of the tag shapes from the Christmas Punch set. Three of them have Linen Thread to attach them to a package, and one has a sticky strip across the back. You could also fill the envelope with a gift card or other sentiment/image stamped onto a card. I had so much fun figuring out how to make this design come to life! I hope you enjoy looking.

It would be SO easy to earn your own Level 2 Christmas Punch stamp set and be able to make this project and many others. By hosting a demonstration or workshop, YOU get the credit for what your guests purchase. If you had eight guests each purchase as little as $37.50 worth of Stampin' Up! products, you could easily earn this set and more!

If you live in the Orange County, California area and wish to host a demonstration or workshop, please contact me by clicking on my "Order with Me" button to see my email and phone number. I'd love to demonstrate some of the possiblities for creating projects or gifts using Stampin' Up.
