Happy *Independence Day*! I had fun creating my cards this year. I decided not to use the brightest red, white or blue, but more muted colors (Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue), and to add them to a basic, scored Kraft card. If you want to see how I did my "patterned" stars, I have a how-to below. Enjoy your holiday!
Stampin' Up's new Idea Book & Catalog debuts today at Noon Mountain Time. I will update my blog at that time.
Stamp your image onto cardstock. Take care to make the images close together if you want a lot of color on your thin punchout.
Punch out Small Star first.
Carefully place Large Star punch around Small Star. Punch out.
Voila! Your own, custom-patterned star! After this, I blunted the tips of the stars just to be different!

Neat card. Thanks for the tutorial!
Love this card! The tutorial is great! I never thought of using my stamp sets that way before!! Can you tell us how you got the lyrics on your paper? Did you print them onto cardstock or were they a stamp? I love it! Kim S.
Ananymous, I have no way to contact you, so I'll answeryour question here. The words to the song are a stamp, but I don't know who made it. It would be an option to print it out from your computer. Thanks for asking!
