This card is one of my patriotic cards that I usually send off as a thank you to our troops through
Operation Gratitude. This time, it's a personal thank you and hello greeting to a friend who is a Major in the Army. He's been gone since before Christmas and still has a ways to go before he can come home to his family. Inside I wrote a personal note. I chose a Yoyo Yellow background, which traditionally means those at home are waiting for a safe return, and it also pops out the red, white and blue theme. I used the starts from the Independence Day set and embossed them with clear embossing powder. The designer paper is unknown. I used stars from a packet of confetti under my United States Flag patch.
Thanks for looking!
