Plain Prized Peony

I have a custom card order with a request for blank cards. These are always hard for me, as I feel they look unfinished. I'm getting better at imagining them, though! Here I used the Prized Peony stamp (leaves) and the Peony Dies for the centerpiece. I used the blending brush to add some color to the Basic White petals of the peony.

The flower is adhered to the Golden Garden Specialty Acetate print in gold using Stamping Dimensionals. The specialty paper was adhered to one of the prints from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. All of these special touches were added to a Crumb Cake card base.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I made this week. Please use my Online Store if you need to purchase your own Stampin' Up! products.

Peony Fun Fold Birthday

This is a special birthday card for one of my stamping friends. She is creative and fun and loves to come and stamp any time she can. It's a birthday card.

This is what the card looks like when you fold it for mailing. I did use one of the non-machinable stamps to make sure I had enough postage. It wasn't the layers but the bow that made the card so think in the envelope.

Thanks for stopping by today! Please use my Online Store when you need supplies to make cards! I'd love to be your demonstrator.

Prized Peony Thinking of You

Today's project is a card with matching box. I learned how to make the card and blessing box from Ronda Wade at Creating for Christ. Over the weekend, she had a live video to celebrate World Card Making Day. I made my card just like hers, but with a different sentiment. The box has a different decoration and sentiment than her box.

Inside the box lid is a little saying printed out from the CFC Facebook page. I plan on putting a chocolate treat in here for a special friend I'm seeing this week. The card will go to another special friend.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to create. Use my Online Store any time you want your own Stampin' Up! products.

Mango Melody Peonies

Sentiment is from Many Mates. Dies on front are from Stitched So Sweetly.

After having a creative block for awhile, I started this card just by stamping the image using Memento Black Ink and then choosing the color: Mango Melody. It's a color I love, but one I do not use a lot. I knew I had some retired designer series paper in this color, so I quickly colored my blooms using the Stampin' Write Marker. I didn't do a lot of shading and then I cut my blooms out using the Peonies Dies.

I don't usually decorate the inside of cards, but I felt the front was kind of heavy in layers, so a piece of Whisper White card stock inside helps to balance that out. I used the smallest peony image and colored it like the front.

Thank you for looking today! I hope you will leave a comment so I know you were here.

Forever Blossoms Birthday Note Card

Using a previous layout and the same floral stem from Forever Blossoms, I made a birthday card (Note Card Size) using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Prized Peony stamp set. My sentiment was die cut using the Stitched Nested Dies.

Also new on this card is the fabulous sheer Whisper White ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. It has a heavenly feel to it and is easily tied in a bow or knot, but here I just let it drape down the card behind the blooms.

I thank you of stopping by to check out my card today. Please feel welcome to shop my Online Store. Let me know if you have any questions!

Condolence Peony

Today's card would make a beautiful statement to a grieving family. The Prized Peony large bloom is the star of this card and it is lifted through the frame with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Underneath the frame is the beautiful texture from the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. The sentiment from Prized Peony is stamped and then die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels dies. I snipped off one end of the die cut and then added the lovely border die cut from the Peony Dies. The Elegant Faceted Gem is the last element to add a little sparkle to this card.

Thanks for looking today. I hope you will leave me a comment. I love to read them all.

Peony Tag and Bonus Days!

I made these tags for each person who attended my recent Retired Items Sale. I used the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper and made a large tag shape. Then I die cut the next three layers using more designer series paper and card stock.

The dies used are: Stitched So Sweetly and Peony. Those blossoms are not as hard to put together as they look, and you can leave your blossom flat or work it with a bone folder for some depth. The ribbon is the new Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and is very easy to tie.

Through August 3rd, for every $50 you spend you will receive a coupon code for $5 off any order from August 4-31st. No limit on how many coupon codes you can earn!

Sweet Peony Friendship

Another Prized Peony beauty and so simple to make! Using the new Magenta Madness ink, I stamped the blooms along the edge of my card stock and used it for the sentiment. I popped up the blooms using Stampin' Dimensionals and also popped up the sentiment that was cut from Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Thanks for looking today! I hope that you are well and that you will leave me a comment. Please use my Online Store for any Stampin' Up! supplies you need to spread encouragement by sending hand made cards.

Prized Peony

I received my first new catalog order last Friday and here is what I quickly came up with. I used the new Prized Peony stamp set and inked it right up with Blushing Bride ink.

Next, I used a Sponge Dauber to daub on some Crumb Cake ink around the edges. I remember peonies from my childhood and they were soft pink with little brown edges on those beautiful petals. I stamped the large image twice and then added my sentiment from the same stamp set and cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. This card took less than 5 minutes to make!
