MOJO Monday 127

I was missing my MOJO last week, so I made sure I had time for it today! Mojo Monday designers put out a sketch each Monday and invite you to play along. Won't you?

I took the fast/easy way out and used the square sketch. I plan on trying the round one later on this week. I know two young people who have moved out on their own lately, so that is what I made the card for. This one is for the guy, the round one will be for the girl.

Shopping List:
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Designer Paper: Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Pad
Stamps: Good Neighbors, Fundamental Phrases
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Summer Sun
Accessories: (retired) SU grosgrain ribbon, brads

As always, please use my Website to order your Stampin' Up! supplies.

PPA28 Play Along!

Here is my submission for Pals Paper Arts Challenge #28. It's a color challenge! Use the following colors:

My card base is Melon Mambo. I matted a piece of designer paper from the Welcome Neighbor Paper Pad (available *free* with $50 purchase--See Sale-A-Bration) with Basic Black card stock after I used the new Scallop Trim Border Punch (also *free* with $50 purchase--See Sale-A-Bration).
Then I stamped the Vintage Label (*free* with $50 purchase--See Sale-A-Bration) circle in Melon Mambo onto Whisper White card stock and popped it out using the Scallop Circle Punch.
In the middle, I added a Basic Black die cut from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlits die and used dimensionals to pop up the Small Heart punched flourish from Tiny Tags (Occasions Mini Catalog).
I tied a Whisper White Taffeta ribbon around the length of the matt to finish the card.

Inside I used one of the 7 stencils from Love U (in the Definitely Decorative Catalog) set with a sponge dauber and Melon Mambo ink from the puddle on the top of the ink pad. This is done onto Whisper White very lightly so that you can still write on the inside of the card.

Play along at Pals Paper Arts!
