Dragonfly Cheer

Dragonfly Garden is turning out to be a favorite stamp set of mine. I wasn't really thrilled when we had a chance to purchase it very early so we could use it at a virtual event, but the more I use it the more I love it! 

This card was inspired by a variety of cards I looked at on Pinterest. I also used retired Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper (but you could pair these stamps with any DSP) and the sentiment from Hand Penned Petals. The cute circle I stamped the sentiment on is cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Dragonflies Monochromatic Thank You

Welcome to my blog! I'm so glad you came by today. This card was made using the Dandy Garden Suite from the January to June Mini Catalog. I love the variety of colors in the Dandy Garden 6" x6" Designer Series Paper. (Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight, Blackberry Bliss) It's like there is something for everyone!

I chose to do today's card in a monochromatic theme, using the Misty Moonlight prints. Cutting out layers using the Stitched Rectangle Dies helps give the card some dimension. That lovely Dragonfly image is stamped onto Basic White card stock using Misty Moonlight ink and then it's easily punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. I fussy cut the sentiment and added some Misty Moonlight Silver Baker's twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
