Today's card was inspired by one made by Allison Okamitsu. I changed her colors and used a different sentiment from the same stamp set: Merry Little Labels. The candles are from the Hostess set Merry Patterns.
Each 12 x 12" piece of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper will only made 6 card fronts when cut 4 x 5-1/4", so I used a couple of different patterns in black and white for my background.
I could have easily framed the candles with the Old Olive card stock and made the base out of Cherry Cobbler and I think they would look just as nice. I also added my own touch with the Basic Black Thick Baker's Twine.
