May Pals Blog Hop Stepping Out with Textures or Techniques

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for May 2016.  We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring projects that are “stepped up” by using textures or fun techniques. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

My idea for adding texture to any card or project is to use the Confetti Hearts Border Punch. I cut a strip of Flirty Flamingo card stock 1-1/4" x 5" to fit across the note card.

This is what the card looks like without the texture. Nice, but I also like it with the border of sweet hearts!
See the list below the Blog Hop Line-up for my supplies.
What do you think? Do you prefer the texture or the non-texture card? I love comments!

Great use of that border punch. Clean, simple, elegant design!

Pretty card! I like the one with the punched paper better though both are nice.

A pretty, happy card, Patti! Love the fresh color palette, showcasing the new In Color, Flirty Flamingo.
