Another Thursday and another Pals Paper Arts Challenge! This is a sketch challenge. You can see that I used the elements labeled 1-4 as four different colors instead of pieces. My card base is Crushed Curry card stock. My watercoloring is on Water Color Paper in the colors Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie.
For the sentiment element, I used a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of Very Vanilla card stock. It's different water coloring onto card stock than watercolor paper, but it can be done if you don't squeeze the Aqua Painter too hard.
I stamped "off" the flower bouquet before stamping it onto my dry square. I used Mossy Meadow. Then I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. Both stamps are from the For All Things stamp set. I tied a bow with Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine around the bottom because I thought the area needed a little something.
I hope you like looking at my card today! You may be inspired to play along at Pals Paper Arts! Go to the site and check out the rest of the Design Team offerings!
