Hi everyone! I finally had time to finish my very first watercolor card using the Aqua Painters and Ann Schach's Tutorial and Video. I am so pleased with the results. If you are interested in learning how to make cards, Ann has a very easy system going. Her videos and written tutorials are excellent and will take you through each step in recreating the cards that she sends you all made up. Here you can see the detail. The flower stem was stamped onto water color paper using Black Stazon ink. When you watercolor on the image, the Stazon does not run. I used Soft Sky and Marina Mist ink in layers with my Aqua Painter to achieve the shading. I snipped out the flower stem and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals and added pearls.
Underneath the stem, there is an Oval Framelit, which has an ombre affect also achieved with the Aqua Painter and Marina Mist ink. I stamped off the dots image from Happy Watercolor onto the upper left and lower right portions of the oval. The sentiment also comes with the Happy Watercolor stamp set.

What a beautiful card! It is very classy and elegant. I have been attempting to watercolor for years and my flowers don't compare! Thanks also for sharing the link to Ann's classes. I am always eager to learn and re-learn. You are a very talented and creative papercrafter.
