Envelope Punch Board Candy Wrapper Box Tutorial

This week I saw some CUTE party favors, thanks to my friend and fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Goldie Shaul. She shared some very elegant boxes on her blog, Punch and Stamp with Goldie.

A piece of Fresh Prints Designer paper from the paper stack (4-1/2" x 6-1/2") is scored on the long side at 1-1/2", 3",
4-1/2" and 6". Turn and score the short sides 1" from each side.

Here is the piece of paper with all of the score lines. Crease each one with your bone folder.

Line up the 4-1/2" side at the 1" mark and punch. (This is the end that is not scored at 1/2").

Now it looks like this.

Fold each score line and punch, lining up the edge at the 1" line on the punch board.

You are half way done.

Both sides are now punched. No more punching!

Choose some ribbon and lightly pinch the sides together. Fill with treats before tying second side. :-)

Decorate any way you wish. I think the "Mr. and Mrs." could be a cute wedding favor! Thanks for looking today. I got so excited when I finally figure out how to punch these pre-cut papers from the Fresh Prints stack. The possibilities of patterns and embellishments are endless. These would make cute gift boxes for small jewelry, too.

Awesome! Thanks for the tutorial. I have been putting off getting the EBP, but perhaps I now 'need' it :)

Lisa, I use the Envelope Punch Board more for "other" things than envelopes!! :-)
