Beach Scene and Blog Candy Winner!

Today's card was one I made at a demonstration during convention by my Pal, Liz Hughes. Liz is a very experienced card class queen! She taught us this technique for the background on this beautiful card.

I could NOT have imagined this card in my own creativity! We used a brayer, sponges and post it notes and daubers, I believe. I just followed her instructions and I think I did a pretty good job. Her original design has the reeds and birds in a different color, but I was content to use the one color. I think I needed a bit more "sand" area, but maybe next time! I definitely went out of my comfort zone on this creation!

A big thanks to Liz for bringing all of the supplies for us to make cards at our Pals gathering!

Now for my BLOG CANDY winner! Drum roll, please...
