Maybe you have already heard that Stampin' Up! announced retiring colors, returning colors and FREE SHIPPING!! Before I get too excited about the FREE SHIPPING, please let me give you my take on the color refresh. I decided to mull the announcement over all morning and go into my studio to check out those colors that are leaving. At first I thought I could not do without Pretty In Pink or Baja Breeze, but after re-organizing my ink pads into the new color collections, they are very well-balanced. I'm not going to hoard any of the old colors!!
Last time SU announced a color refresh, people went crazy pining over "lost" colors. I focus on the *new* because really, I do get tired of same-old, same-old. I am SO excited for returning colors I have loved and even a brand new color--SMOKY SLATE. Of course, don't forget that there will be a new set of In Colors as well. So excitement, excitement, excitement! Click the link below to print your Refresh Flyer.
Here is a video on the refresh

I am a demo (so you can skip me for the cards :)), but I am a hobbyist with hoarding tendencies LOL I think the only one I am sad to see go (tho I don't use it much) is Bashful Blue, because if is a true "baby" blue whereas pool party and soft sky are more modern than classic... happy to see almost the entire 2011-13 in color class stay!! That has been my fave since I found SU in 2009... and that's my opinion LOL
Hi Patti:
I am devastated that Regal Rose is being retired. It is just such a gorgeous color. But, I am like you on your 'new' point, I am soooo excited to see Pool Party stay. Thanks for sharing and sponsoring a giveaway!
I am sad to baja Breeze go, it is a good color for all seasons and goes great with crumb cake! Glad to see blushing bride come back. Not a big fan of the ink, but love the paper for matting and accenting cards! So I guess I can see good and bad, I am also like you and think change can be good and exciting!
I love Baja Breeze and use it all the time (probably too much!). It is such a bright, happy color. I'm sure SU will replace it with something just as nice, though. Love your cards.
I am sad that Certainly Celery is being discontinued but glad to see Bermuda Bay brought back. Really excited to see what the new in-colors will be ;)
Thanks for a chance to win!
I was surprised More Mustard was on the list. To me it is a classic fall color. I will miss Regal Rose also for it is mainly a sentimental color for me in that my first Stampin' Up purchases involved Regal Rose. I am excited though about the retired colors making a comeback! Looking forward to seeing the new in colors.
I am sad to see More Mustard go because for me it has been a great color with my fall cards. Regal Rose was my first Stampin' Up ink purchase and I am sorry to see it retire. However, I am excited about the returning colors and am looking forward to the new in colors.
I will miss Pretty in Pink :( I use it all the time!
Sad that Regal Rose will be going to the "no more" groups as well as Pretty In Pink and Not Quite Navy. I unfortunately have not had all of the colors, but would dearly love receiving your "giveaway" colors! Thank you for your creativity and this chance to win!
Certainly celery is my go to green. I will have to stock up on cardstock. It is such a cheery green. Thanks for your opportunity and I love your blog. Thanks for great inspiration.
