Pals Paper Arts Challenge: Fashion Inspiration--Where Have All the Flowers Gone?

This card began with a scrap of Whisper White that was in my scrap box! I stamped the stems from Bold Blossom (Occasions Mini) using my clear mount set. What a snap when you can see the image through the clear blocks! I used Pear Pizzazz Ink.

Next, I had to think how I would "flower" them for the challenge. Buttons! I chose buttons that matched my 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon colors of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Pretty In Pink. They are mounted on the stems with mini glue dots.

For the sentiment, I wanted to represent some grass, so I used Certainly Celery 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and slipped a teeny knot on either side of my Modern Label punched from Tangerine Tango textured card stock. I mounted the sentiment from Bold Blossom which was stamped in Tangerine Tango ink onto Whisper White and punched out with an oval punch.

I think having those two knots down center really balances the knots in the center of the flowers.

My Whisper White was then ready to mount onto a piece of textured Tangerine Tango, which was folded to measure 5" x 5" and fit into Stampin' Up's Medium Square envelopes.
