Ceremony

Our son, who is in the Army Reserves and has served in Iraq received a proclamation from our County Supervisors last week. His lovely girlfriend accompanied my husband and I to watch our district supervisor present the proclamation to him in council chambers. We are very proud of our soldier and I made him a card to let him know just how grateful we are for his service.

I used a scallop punch for my "ribbon" and then the large star punch to clip a "v" into each scallop for the look of an official award ribbon.
