I didn't get to enter Mojo Monday last week, but I'm back this week! Challenge yourself with their sketches! It's also fun to see what others come up with when they are inspired by these sketches.
For my card, I began with a River Rock card base. Yes, RIVER ROCK is one of the retired In Colors that are being brought back with the Color Renovation. I am excited to see new colors and welcome retired ones in the newly configured color collections. Today I took all of my ink pads and re-inkers off of my carousel and have new empty spots waiting for the new ones that I'll be able to order during preview in June. I previously did the same thing with all of my card stock.
Now, back to my card! I layered on some Welcome Neighbor (retired) Designer Series Paper and matted it with Very Vanilla. Next to that I unfurled three "ribbons" in the Old Olive color; two from the other side of the DSP and one is taffeta ribbon. I tacked these down with my own idea of brads: Boho Blossom punched So Saffron with office paper punched Old Olive circles for their centers.
For the sentiment square, I stamped with Thank You Kindly in Old Olive onto Very Vanilla. I paper-pierced in two opposite corners and added one more flower to the third corner. I mounted this square on with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my card and I hope you are inspired to create your own!
Tomorrow: More on Pretty Pals' meeting with Shelli!
