Clean and Simple
Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge #13 is where I got the inspiration for today's card. The idea is to have a card with lots of open space, little or no embellishments and limited layers. In other words, quick and easy to put together. On my base of Brocade Blue cardstock I used some cancelled postage stamps I had been saving. Behind the stamps I embossed an image from Itty Bitty Backgrounds. In place of a sixth postage stamp, I stamped an image from Independence Day and backed it on top and bottom with Real Red. I made this card to take to Operation Gratitude this weekend where I am helping assemble packages. They are always in need of any types of cards for soldiers to receive and use to send to loved ones at home. Thanks for looking!
